KBC have been manufacturing motorcycle helmets for almost 20 years. Our first helmet was a snowmobile helmet manufactured for Arctic
Cat in 1991. In the ensuing years, KBC started manufacturing helmets for private-label firms, including Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, Suzuki,
Fox, and many others.

However, over the last six years, KBC has been working on creating our own image and brand name in the helmet world. Today KBC is one of the fastest growing helmet brands in the world with its head office situated in Los Angeles, and in 2002 establishing its European Headquarters in the UK.

Helmets exist for one reason alone - to reduce the amount of impact energy transmitted to the head in the event of an accident. The outer shell of the

helmet absorbs the initial impact, dissipating it
through the inner shell which then absorbs a great
deal of energy and inertia, effectively cushioning the brain's deceleration.

All of KBC's helmets are produced to the highest specifications required for different motorcycle markets, including the stringent American SNELL safety standard, American DOT, Australian QAS, European ECE 2205 and the UK's ACU Gold standard.
